Assistance on your arrival in Lima, at the international airport "Jorge Chavez", and transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 2: CITY TOUR IN LIMA

CITY TOUR IN LIMA
At 9:30 am starts the travel around Lima which provides you a perfect combination (pre-hispanic era, colonial period and modern Lima), and enables the visitor to get acquainted with Lima's complete history.
We will visit the "Huaca Pucllana", a magnificent ceremonial and administrative center of Lima culture, built in the 4th century A.C. and considered by the Incas as "Ñaupallaqta" a "Sacred Village".
In this travel you will also visit the Historical Center: Paseo de la Republica, San Martin Square, Main Square, Government Palace, Basilica Cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace, City hall palace, the old streets with colonial mansions and moorish-style balconies.
We will also visit them convent and church of San Francisco; which is the greatest monumental assembly of colonial art in America. It also contains the monks' chair and library, the vestry, with painting by Zurbaran and Rivera; main cloister decorated with sevillan tiles from the 16th century; moorish arches and the famous "Catacombs", underground crypts from the colonial times.
This Lima travel continues through the more traditional residential areas: el olivar in San Isidro, with olive trees brought from spain in the 17th century; Miraflores Central Park, the park of love, and the famous mall "Larco Mar", a spot of international thematic attractions which offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean - Larco Mar has became a distinctive symbol of modern Lima.

Day 3: Bus Lima to Trujillo

12:00pm Transfer from the Hotel to the bus station.
12:30pm Bus Lima / Trujillo (10 hours approximately).
22:30pm Arrival in Trujillo, and transfer to the Hotel.
Overnight in Trujillo.

Day 4: City Tour + Chan Chan

am. : City Tour Visit : La Muralla Perimentral (Baluarte Herrera), Square El Recreo, Archaeological Museum, Iturregui Palace, Emancipation´s House, La Merced Church , Mariscal Orbegoso House, Calonge Urquiaga House, The Cathedral , Mayorazgo House, Mayor Square.

pm. : Tour to Chan – Chan Visit to the Archaeological complex Chan Chan, visiting The Rainbow Temple or ruins of the dragon, The Tschudi Palace, one of the nine better preserved cities, the walls are decored with Friezes of high relief. We’ll visit the ceremonial squares, granaries, templetes or hearings, funeral platform, finishing the visit in the fishermen’s cove of Huanchaco, traditional fishing port where we could appreciate the ponies of Totora (old Mochicas´ crafts).
Free Afternoon, advisable for visiting the market of handicraft and footwear.
Overnight in Trujillo.

Day 5: Sun and Moon Pyramids

Excursion for the Moche Valley, visiting the Moche´s field, where we'll appreciate the traditional ways of cultivating the land and the typical local gown. In this field locates the highest mud brick’s temple of America “The Sun and the Moon Temple”, which walls are adorned by beautiful arabesques in high relief by motives of the mythology Mochica.

Day 6: PIRAMIDES DE TUCUME + MUSEO TUMBAS REALES

Departure to Tucume in order to visit its archaeological complex, famous for its pyramids and terraces that surround in radial form the mountain, traditionally called as Purgatory or the Stripe.
It´s possible to estimate from 24 to 26 pyramids that cover an extension of 49 km2, among them Huaca The Stakes, Viewing-point, etc. The great advance developed in fishing, trade and agricultural activities. Later We’ll move to Lambayeque to visit the new and modern Museum of Sipan Tombs, which has ten rooms of exhibition in all its tour, where will be observed The Treasures of Sipan Lord,a great collection of golden, silver and copper objects.
Appreciate the Saint Pedro Church, the largest balcony in Peru, The Mayor Square. Dessert Stores. Overnight in Chiclayo.

Day 7: The Lord of Sipan

09:00am. We’ll move to Huaca Rajada to 33 km to the east of Chiclayo and to 2kms of the Sipan´s Village, where has been found the intact tomb of an elite personage that has been named The lord of Sipan (Moche 200 to 700 A.C.)
The sumptuosity of its ornaments, and the high degree of its technological development in the work with the gold, make it to be considered the most important archaeological discover of the century. We’ll visit The Museum of Site (Place).
13:00pm. Return to the Hotel.

20:00pm. Transfer from the hotel to the bus station
20:30pm. Bus from Chiclayo to Chachapoyas

Day 8: Chachapoyas – Sarcófagos de Karajia

ARRIVAL TO CHACHAPOYAS & VISIT KARAJIA SARCOFAGUS
(06:00 am) Arrival to Chachapoyas and transfer to the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to our vehicle towards the province of Luya – Lamud, continuing on our tour visiting the towns of Cohechan and Cruz Pata, from this point we will walk for 20 minutes until the funeral site Karajia these tombs belong to the culture the pre Inca Chachapoyas, this form of burial is considered unique in the world, returning from lunch in town Luya. Then visit another attraction of natural character it stand located in the district of Lamud province of Luya, amid the typical vegetation and a distance of 20 minutes away are the stunning limestone needles of different shapes and sizes known as stalactites and estaligmitas. Return to the City of Chachapoyas.

Day 9: Ciudadela Fortificada de Kuélap

After breakfast depart and the start time of the fortified citadel of Kuelap after 45 "arrive at the archaeological site of Macro observation and explanation of the housing complex built on the slope of a hill, then continue our mobility for about 2 hours, pass towns like Nuevo Tingo, Choctamal, Longuita and Maria, reaching the parking area at Malca Pampa. Then walk about 15 minutes to enter the citadel of Kuelap in where we will visit different places as ceremonial grounds, the largest temple, circular rooms, etc.. The journey into the great citadel takes about 3 hours. After lunch taste, ciuad return to Chachapoyas.

Day 10: Waterfall Gocta.

After breakfast we begin our journey to Cocachimba where we will start the walk for approximately 3 hours, and then get to the foot of the waterfall. The trail leads through narrow trails and trail with a great diversity of flora and fauna. This region offers a beautiful combination of geography and history that makes it a magical place. Time to take pictures and bathing. Box lunch. Walk back to Cocachimba. Return to Chachapoyas. Transfer to the bus station.
8:30 p.m. - Tourist Bus Chachapoyas - Chiclayo (10 hrs. approx.).

Day 11: Cajamarca – Otuzco Necropolis.

Day 12: Cajamarca – City Tour + Inca Bath.

08:30 am – City Tour /Hacienda La Collpa and Baños del Inca.
Visit the Historic Center of Cajamarca, one of the most unique monuments in America, witnessed important events that marked has history of Peru and the continent, as the encounter between two worlds, in recognition of this, it has been declared by the Organisation of American States “Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Americas” (1986). We will visit the Plaza Mayor, the beautiful temples such as the Cathedral, San Francisco, Monumental Complex Belen imposing Baroque façade. Visit the Ransom Room, serve to store the treasures of gold and silver offered in exchange for the freedom of the Inca Atahualpa (considered the highest ransom paid in history). We will visit the Colonial Hospitals of men and women, and the Ethnographic Museum and finally Santa Apolonia Hill, where the Silla del Inca is located.
Lunch at one of the best restaurants in town.

In the afternoon, visit to the Ex Hacienda La Collpa, wich presents a landscape of green areas and forested hillsides where cows are called by name for their daily milking environment. Know its chapel, workshops and environments for milking, artificial lagoon, ornamented with small bridges and surrounded by gardens. Then continue visiting the Plaza de Armas Llacanora, picturesque village, the prototype of Cajamarca highlands, visit its beautiful waterfalls and then we drive to the District of Baños del Inca, where hot springs have temperatures above 70 degrees Celsius (158F). The minerals that compose them have therapeutic properties for the treatment of disease to the bones, skin and nervous system properties. It is said that the arrival of the Spanish in Cajamarca, here lay the Inca of Tawantinsuyo. Return.

Day 13: Cajamarca – Otuzco Necropolis.

Cajamarca – Otuzco Necropolis.

A start time Otuzco Necropolis Tour, 8 km from Cajamarca, archaeological complex that belonged to a pre Inca population, prior to the Cajamarca culture and probably Wari influence. There are hundreds of galleries and individual niches resembling windows, carved into the volcanic rock, reaching up to 8 and 10 m deep. Your tickets are rectangular and square cut from 50 to 60 cm tall. Probably were originally gravestones carved with figures in relief.
Continue the tour also visiting the Garden of hydrangeas, Hacienda Tres Molinos and Fundo Los Alpes, where you can taste delicious dairy products. Return to hotel.
