I wanted to get back to you regarding the trip you organized for us in Peru in September. As we have mentioned to you on the phone on our last day, we had an amazing trip in the country. We were there for only 10 days and you have managed to make us see so much beautiful things! The excursions, the transfers, flights, train and bus rides were perfectly timed. The guides we had were all very kind and well informed and we appreciated all that they taught us.

The hotels you have booked for us were amazing, all well located, beautiful and clean. The drivers who were picking us at the airport or hotels were all on time and very friendly. They helped us improve our Spanish! ;)

The animal lovers we are loved our stay in the jungle - the lodge was so beautiful and the environment was very different from what we are used to. Being awaken by the nature's sound was a cool experience! We also liked our stay in Cusco, a very beautiful city surrounded by all those mountains and ruins. Our short stop at Aguas Calientes was great and we were amazed by the Machu Picchu - it is beautiful in photos, but seeing the real thing was really impressive. We wish we would have had more time to do some trekking there as the view was breathtaking.

Again, thank you so much for organizing this trip for us. We didn't have to think about anything and it gave us more time to appreciate the precious moments. We will recommend Julius Tours to our friends and family with no hesitation.

As we already told you when you passed us in Lima on our last day of the holiday, we enjoyed our trip in Peru very much. Everything was extremely well organised, and when we had a question you replied almost immediately via whatsapp.

The hotels you chose were on good locations and very nice, espacially the Hotel In Arequipa and the Lodge in Puerto Maldonado. The flight over the Nasca lines and the rafting in Arequipa were exciting, the Inca trail fabulous and the jungle at the end relaxing.

We appreciate it very much with the service provided by your tour company and we enjoyed most of our trip very much. Just a note to thank you for arranging our trip from Lima/Nazca/Ica/Cuzco/Arequipa/Colca Canyon/Lima. We especially appreciate the tour guide and the driver in Arequipa, whom have been taking us from Arequipa to Colca Canyon and return. They are professionals. One incident shown this: a riot was almost executed on the day we would be leaving for Colca Canyon, we received a call from the guide that the journey might be on schedule if we could start at 4:30 am in the morning. We were shock to receive a phone call during our dinner and felt it was a bit unreasonable though we had no choice to accept it. But before we went to sleep, we received another call that the riot would be cancelled and the pickup could be at 6:00 am as planned. I really appreciate the guide and the driver have been following the incident and they have to spend time and effort to make us feel the best comfortable as possible. Thanks to both of them. Lastly, we also thank Julius and the manager arranging our freshening up upon arrival back to Lima from Arequipa so as we are not too dusty to catch the plane back to Toronto. I recommend Julius Tours and will consider using Julius Tours when we go to the northern Peru in the future trip there. Cheerios!

I first used Julius Tours to coordinate our guests activities for our wedding about 6 years ago. We had guests traveling from Japan, Germany, Argentina and the United States. Julius Travel arranged a bus trip from Lima to Ica with a fly over of the "Lines of Nasca" for over 30 people, a trip to Cuzco and Machu Picchu for 25 people, as well as a trip to "El Señor de Sipán Museum" in Lambayeque and Chan Chan near Trujillo for 6 people. These were all optional tours for our guests and required complicated scheduling as many guests arrived and departed the country on different dates. We also had many last minute changes and additions. Everything was handled with professionalism, urgency and a sense of humor.
Needless to say we have used Julius Tours for our Peruvian travel arrangements ever since. Most recently Julius Tours arranged a last minute (Monday morning at 10:00 am with a same day departure at 2:30 pm) trip for three to Jauja and Tarapoto for two nights each with a return to Lima for one day to attend a wedding, and then another trip to Piura for 6 people for 5 nights. I could not believe that it could be fit in with our time restraints and the fact that we did not plan ahead. In addition we were late in traveling to the Jauja airport for our return flight to Lima which we needed in order to catch our next flight to Tarapoto. Julius Tours called the airport to alert them of our situation. We arrived at the Jauja airport about 8 minutes before departure and the ticketing agent kept the flight open and we got our boarding passes and on the flight for an on time departure. It was truly amazing. I thought that we had missed the flight for sure.
All in all I heartily recommend Julius Tours for anyone traveling in Peru.

When planning my 4 week trip to Peru for September/October. I invited 4 travel agents based in Peru to quote for an itinerary, accommodation, local transport and tours selected by myself. In the end, I selected one travel agents, Julius Tours, based in Lima-Peru and was not disappointed. Julius our travel adviser, attended to my numerous emails within 24 hours, where possible, and kept in touch with us by phone during our actual trip.
Based on my and my wife's personal experience I have no hesitation recommending Julius Tours to family and friends. Julius was of special assistance when my wife fell ill and I found it difficult to communicate with LAN regarding the change of one of our flights which was not part of the tour content booked with Julius Tours.

Attached are two photos of me and Johana on the end of the first day of this emotional and intense 12 days tour. We think that day 1 describes the fullness of our Peru experience. Starting in Lima, going to Paracas with a first-class bus to do the Ballestas Island Tour (which we loved), followed by a city tour and a visit to the regional museum in Ica, continuing with an adrenaline pushing buggy ride and sandboarding, and finally going to bed in Nazca to prepare for the coming 11 days. Impressive start :-).

We got everything, and more, that we expected and the tour set-up was instrumental in allowing us to do this much in such a short time. Our highlights were 1) Macchu Pichu, 2) Floating Islands, and 3) Buggy and Sandboarding and Ballestas Island . Great value for money! Thanks again for your help and planning.

The whole trip was perfectly organised and exceeded our expectations. the drivers your organised for all our transfers were super super nice and helpful - I could not speak more highly of them - especially the guy that picked us up in Arequipa when our bus was very late. We were convinced there was no way he would be still waiting for us but after such a long bus ride we were relieved he was there to meet us. Also a special mention to the place we stayed in Arequipa and we much appreciated being able to leave our stuff there overnight even thou we weren't staying the next night and let us kill some time before our bus to Cuzco. Very accommodating and much appreciated rather than having to wait at the bus station for hours!

Our journey to Peru gave us a historical background of ancient time and showed us the beautiful landscape of your country with gushing rivers. We experienced the excitement of going by motor boat to the Ballestas Island with the many sea animals & birds. The sites in Peru are endless with ornate churches, and museums of old. There were lots of majestic Inca ruins to be found.

The Hotel in Ica and tour of the Regional Museum was exceptionally good.

The Hotel and flight over Nazca Lines as well as the interesting Chauchilla cemetery was also exceptional.

In Arequipa the Hotel San Felipe Suite was very nice and so was the city tour.

This was followed by a wonderful night at the quaint Hotel in Colca and the majestic Colca Canyon complete with a delicious buffet luncheon and a great dinner show.

In the lovely city of Puno in the outstanding Hotel in Puno, we truly enjoyed the motor boat ride to beautiful Titicaca Lake with floating islands but found the trip to Taquille Island too long and a bit strenuous for the elderly.

Hotel in Cusco was the least desirable but the Sacred Valley of the Incas was an excellent tour.
.Hotel in Aguas Calientes was the best hotel we had in our entire 14 nights in Peru. We had a large room with a spa and our balcony overlooked the river. They also served a great breakfast.

Machu Picchu is the most outstanding site to see and well worth the climb, yet a bit strenuous. The only setback we had was with the train scheduling which was changed because of the floods that happened earlier. Otherwise we could not have asked for anything better.

We can not say enough about the way you handled all of our transfers, whether it be by plane, bus, van or taxi all of our movements were expedited by you and your staff so efficiently and we are very grateful. We thank you sincerely.

Julius Tours is a great company to do business with and we would recommend anyone that wants to go to Peru to contact you first. We promise to send you pictures soon.

I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful tour that we had in Peru. We were initially scared to travel to Peru as we would travel with 2 kids (6 and 3) and we do not speak Spanish. We took the courage and went ahead with the tour. We were extremely happy with the services that were provided. Julius tours and Machupicchu. We booked the traditional Peru package through Julius Tours and it was fantastic. From the moment we arrived in Lima there were people waiting for us. From then on everything was taken care of minus a couple of meals. Julius was very easy to work with and very accomadating. The tour was extremely reasonable, by far the cheapest we could find. The accomadations were modest but comfortable. We chose to go with the cheapest (2 stars), Julius gave us a 3 star hotel while in Puno and it was very nice. All of the tours were great. Our whole group feels like we got the best possible trip for our money. We have been recommending Julius tours to all of our friends and have yet to be dissapointed.Thanks so much Julius, it was a very memorable trip!!

We booked our tour with Julius Tours through the recommendation of our son's friend. We were very happy how Julius Tours arranged our tour. We traveled from Lima to Pisco, Nazca, Arequipa, Puno, Cuzco, always using public transportation busses and the train to Machupicchu. At each destination we were met by a representative of a tour company, they met us on arrival and transferred us to our hotel and took us on tour in each region. They were always on time, courteous and very helpful. On our tour we used 03 star hotels, they were modest but clean and nice. We also flew from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado and stayed in a jungle lodge which was an experience of a lifetime enjoying the tour of the jungle and observing the wildlife. We would recommend Julius Tours any time, the reazon being how our trip was so well arranged. His agency would call us and check with us occasionally to see if we were ok. We really liked they personal touch. Just a short note to let you know we had a good but a long flight home. We want to thank you again for doing such a great job organizing our trip it was great. The Tour featured a private car and a very knowledgeable English - speaking guide Here are the highlights: A visit to the Pachacamac ruins of the temples of the sun and moon. The site contains both Incan and pre-Incan ruins. ItÂ´s a fascinating and enormous site. I highly recommend it. 2) Walking tour of old Lima today, Lima is a sprawling city of over 9 million people. But the old city has a great deal at architectural charm. It gives you an idea at Lima is grand Colonial past. The higlight of the tour for me was a tour at a Franciscan Church that has fabulous structure and that covers catacumbs, where over 30,000 people were buried. The bones are staked neatly in small crypts. 3) Finally, the tour of the Lima Archaeological Museum which bouses a terrific collectian at puttery and tapestries from the pre-Inca through Inca periods. In summary, Julius Tours is a very good and reliable company for organizing day trips to both Lima and Cuzco. I recommend the Company highly.
